Qatar Steel held the 32rd Quality Circle Conference on Monday, 28 January 2008 at the Ritz-Carlton Doha. H. E. Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Thani, Director and General Manager of Qatar Steel, as well as a large number of Qatar Steel managers and senior staff attended the Conference.

H. E. Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Thani, delivered a speech welcoming and thanking the attendees for sharing the happiness of the unique and amazing success achieved in 2007.

In his speech, H. E. Sheikh Nasser praised the fact that Qatar Steel is the only company in the Arabian Gulf region to conduct the Quality Circle Conference over the last 28 years, starting from 1980.

Quality Circle activity is to encourage the employees to create new ideas in order to improve work conditions, safety and individual development for the growth of Organization.

H. E. Sheikh Nasser, further, thanks long-term employees who completed 10, 15, 20, 25 and, for the first time, 30 years of service for their sincere efforts and dedication which played a major role in the huge recognition as well as the quality and performance certificates Qatar Steel receives.
