Qatar Steel Dubai Company, a subsidiary of Qatar Steel Company (Qatar Steel) received the local conformity mark and certification for steel bars in the United Arab Emirates.

During the press conference, Qatar Steel Dubai Company has been granted the license to use the Dubai Central Laboratory (DCL) conformity mark on its products. An agreement in this regard was signed by Engr. Hawa Abdulla Bastaki, Director of DCL, and H. E. Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al-Thani, Chairman of Qatar Steel Dubai Company the Jebel Ali based.

H. E. Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Thani, Chairman of Qatar Steel Dubai Company said that the use of the DCL mark was a demonstration of the Company’s commitment to ensure that their products continued to comply with approved international standard specifications. He added ‘This agreement will have a positive impact on our high quality products and it represents confidence as the consumers will be ensured of the quality of the products they buy.’
