Qatar Steel Participates in the The Aviation Amateurs Festival

The Aviation Amateurs Festival was organized by the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Qatar Aeronautical College on Saturday, 24 January 2009 in Al Khor. Qatar Steel has a prominent role in the Festival as highlighted by its active participation, which was praised by the Chairman of the Organizing Committee. Speaking to press and media, Mr. Saed Mohammed Al Roomi, Manager of the Public Relations Department of Qatar Steel, stated that Qatar Steel’s participation in the Festival reflected the remarkable part it plays in supporting and promoting social activities as part of its commitment to extend itself for the good of the society. He pointed out that all Qatari companies with economic activities should add this social role to their economic role.

Qatar Steel had a remarkable presence in the Festival through its pavilion where valuable gifts were distributed to the large number of visitors and documentary highlighting the various production stages was shown.

All concerned parties and visitors expressed their appreciation of Qatar Steel as a giant industrial organization and wished it continued success and prosperity.
