Visit of H. E. Eng. Ali Akbar Mehrabian, Iranian Minister of Industry and Mines

H. E. Eng. Ali Akbar Mehrabian, Minister of Industry and Mines of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the accompanying delegation visited Qatar Steel.

They were received by Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Thani, Board of Directors and General Managing of Qatar Steel. Sheikh Nasser welcomed H. E. the Minister and the accompanying delegation and gave brief description of Qatar Steel. Then they watched a documentary featuring the various stages of production. After that, Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad answered the questions made by the delegation. The meeting was held to exchange expertise and to discuss issues related to joint investments and the development of steel industry in the region.

At the end of the visit, H. E. the Minister and the accompanying delegation accompanied by Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Thani made a field tour in Qatar Steel’s plants and facilities where they closely saw the various production stages. The delegation expressed their admiration of the quality performance system applied in the Company and wished Qatar Steel continued success.
